I am a recreational runner since Oct 2019. I got inspired by Eliud Kipchoge while he was doing his sub-two hour marathon. Since then I have always been out on a search for the next best trail.
Kilimambogo is roughly 70KM from Nairobi. It's a lovely trail to indulge in as it's well maintained and has an option of covering 6.6KM or 9KM to the summit through the footpath or the full marram road. The trail is kid friendly.
Entrance fee is Ksh 250 and there are campsites at the base as well.
