I am a fitness enthusiast, food junkie and a wanderlust. I mostly enjoy running, yoga and the occasional hike. When the country was locked down last year this meant I wouldn't be running with my team mates as group activities were suspended to curb the spread of Covid.
At the time, my friend was running Solo in Karen and I requested if I could join. What started with one run led to several other runs as we explored the vast Karen neighborhood. We would start either at Galleria, The Water Front or The Hub.
Running here was not only therapeutic but helped fight cabin fever. In addition to hanging out with a few other runners. We have enjoyed the beautiful Karen scenery, morning birds chirping not to forget it's one of the safer zones for runners.
I always look forward to challenging myself to run faster through the few hilly sections along the route and I have graduated from a jogger to running through them non stop at a sub-7 pace. Next month, I am planning to attempt a Sub 2hours half-marathon here.
